The US Attorney of Maryland has seized ten more dot.com domains, that are now facing fraud and money laundering accusations.

Doylesroom.com, Bookmaker.com, 2Betsdi.com, Funtimebingo.com, Truepoker.com, Goldenarchcasino.com, Betmaker.com, Betgrandesports.com, Beted.com and Betehorse.com were the latest websites seized by the US Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland. Seizure warrants have also been released for eleven bank accounts and three people were charged with conducting money laundering and illegal gambling business.

The bank accounts were registered in Guam, North Carolina, Malta, Panama, Portugal and the Netherlands, while the three individuals indicted so far are: David Parchomchuk, Ann Marie Puig and Darren Wright. If they are convicted, the defendants risk the maximum sentence of five years in prison on the illegal gambling business charge and a maximum of 20 years for the money laundering charge.

Here is what the US Attorney of Maryland, Rod J.Rosenstein said in a press release: “It is illegal for internet gambling enterprises to do business in Maryland, regardless of where the website operator is located. We cannot allow foreign website operators to flout the law simply because their headquarters are based outside the country.”

Doylesroom.com is the biggest name out of the ten seized gambling websites. Last week, Doyle Brunson, has decided to quit the website, due to the potential legal ramifications in the wake of Black Friday. Despite the US online poker ban, the website has continued to accept US players.

The 10-time WSOP bracelet winner said that, although they have the right to market the name Doylesroom.com, and to use the player's name and likeliness for a period of time, he asked them not to.
Doyle Brunson said he would probably consider reentering the online poker industry again when the online poker becomes fully legal in the United States.
