Kevin MacPhee wins EPT Berlin

PokerStars qualifier Kevin "ImaLuckSac" MacPhee has recently won the European Poker Tour Berlin, pocketing 1 million first prize. Kevin "ImaLuckSac" MacPhee, the 29 year-old player from Idaho, took down the first prize after an amazing heads-up battle against the Finnish Ilari Tahkokallio. Winning an EPT was a real goal of mine. I have worked very hard for this. It feels awesome. Ilari is an extremely good player and I've got a lot of respect for him, said MacPhee. Although the competed in 15 EPT events, MacPhee has never won a big cash before. The PokerStars European Tour Berlin 5,000 no-limit hold'em main event took place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Berlin and featuring a starting grid of 945 poker players from 48 countries. Although an armed robbery had occurred during the fourth day of the event, things quickly returned to normal. All top 144 poker players finished in the money.
