The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenka, announced that he is ready to sign a decree in order to open up the countries gambling industry.
He hopes to attract many investors and high-rollers from Russia and Ukraine.
With this decree, the Government of Belarus has already managed to attract an important Russian casino.
The Russian casino operator Storm International recently moved to Minsk and already opened five tables and ten slot machines. It intends to double in size over the next few weeks.
The President of the Storm International is even planning to bring VIP players from Moscow.
