PartyPoker Launches Poker Trainer Application
03/02/2011, Online poker

According to PartyPoker “a good poker player never stops learning”. That's why the company has decided to create their Poker Trainer application and help players to improve their game.

The Poker Trainer application is absolutely free and it allows players to practice against computer-generated players in a play money Texas Hold'em game.

Players can choose to compete against up to nine other players, they can select their poker level and follow the Poker Trainer advice. The application shows players the percentage chance of winning and the pot odds and it advises whether to fold, call or raise. At the end of the poker session, the application shows how the player performed and which were his winning hands. The player can even replay his last hand, so he can learn from his mistakes.

PartyPoker has also partnered with the poker training website Drag The Bar and they created a new "DTB4FREE" program in order to give players the chance to try a free poker training, or to improve their poker skills.

David Levy, a Party Poker marketing executive, said: “Drag The Bar is a cutting edge poker training site, and I know our players will benefit greatly from all its site has to offer. We want our players to not only have fun, but also perform well at our tables, so we are thrilled to make this free offer available.”

“We're very excited to be working with Party, and I know this will be the start of a long-term relationship for both companies.” said Drag The Bar CEO Hunter Bick.

“But more importantly, this is a big win for poker players. Everyone's goal is to make more money, and high quality poker training is the best the way to fast-track your progress and start crushing the games. By providing free training, Party is investing in their players' futures and offering them a tremendous value.”

The application is powered by the Poker Academy, one of the most advanced training softwares on the Internet.
