Stefan Hansen is a Norwegian poker player who won the first European Masters of Poker season III title. The player outlasted a field of 213 players taking down the €34,160 first place prize.

The final hand saw Stefan Hansen moving all in with pocket sixes and Yohas Avidani from Israel calling with pocket threes. The board showed K-9-2-A-K and the Norwegian player was crowned the winner of the tournament. Hansen also scooped an additional €10,000 for taking the event down.

Last year's Gran Canaria winner was Marciej Lipny from Poland, who defeated a field of 287 competitors, taking home €66,240.

8. Matti Konttinen (Finland) - €6,170;
9. Ran Sahanes (Israel) - €5,110.

The €1,100 buy-in event, which took place at the Casino Las Palmas in the Canary Islands will be succeeded a second stop at the Casino Estoril, Lisbon, Portugal, from March 23rd to 26th, 2011.
