False Shuffles
19/03/2010, Game rules
The card shuffling allows you to place particular cards at the top bottom of the deck and to keep them that way. The false shuffling is important for card magicians who want to create the illusion of shuffling cards without losing track of their desired card. This technique allows you to control the cards when you are in play. A false shuffle is a cheating technique which involves a special way to place the cards exactly in their desired location using this technique to your advantage. False shuffles generally depends on the pre-arranging of the entire pack. When doing a false shuffle, the public must see no deception or hesitation, but to assume that the dealer or magician is mixing the cards at random. There are many ways to accomplish a false shuffle. For example, you could keep the bottom card on the bottom of the deck, shuffling the bottom card to the top of the deck, shuffling to keep one or more cards undisturbed at the top of the deck and then stacking the deck. This operation can be repeated hundreds of times without fear of a mistake. It is important to know how to mix the cards very fast, except one – that you should never lose from sight. We use the French shuffle when a card, which is placed on the game needs to remain in the same position. For this we need to keep the cards in the left hand and shuffle the cards in a fairly normal way. But remember to make sure that the fingers of your left hand keep a grip on the bottom card of the pack. Then you will drag off the top card of the pack with your left thumb, so that it falls on top of the bottom card. Shuffle the rest of the pack onto the 2 cards. The false shuffles can only be prevented by making a cut after the shuffle and watching the player's hand very closely and intensely during the entire game. Related articles
